In a recent interview with Production HUB, our CEO and CTO, Michael Nikonov, spoke about the benefits of using iPi Mocap during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. With Hollywood live action productions largely suspended and college animation students in the U.S. recently returning to an online learning environment, he outlines that our markerless motion capture software can find its place in the complex production pipelines of the big studios and is particularly effective for concept testing, previz, and background animation of large crowds or secondary characters that don’t require high levels of detail. The motion capture system can also be done at home or in a small office space, making it a good choice for remote work and learning.
